Where: Building 1, Room 2312
Helping Central Florida’s vulnerable homeless population of men and women, many of whom are veterans, in need of a safe place to heal from serious illness or injury. A licensed Assisted Living Facility, which provides medical respite to people experiencing homelessness. Serves as a post hospital resource for patients without a safe place to heal from injury, illness, or another medical setback. Our 34-bed program is an excellent discharge solution for health care providers. We provide services to approximately 200 residents annually.
Who is Eligible?
Citizens of Orange, Seminole or Osceola County who are in need of supplemental dog or cat food are eligible to participate in this program at the Pet Alliance Orlando.
How Do You Get Food?
For individuals in need of food for personal pets, you can stop by either shelter location on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday between the hours of 12 pm and 5 pm. Food can be picked up once monthly and is based on donations, specific brands or types are not guaranteed.
You will need the following documents to apply for assistance:
- Valid Photo ID for adult in the household
- Lease Agreement or Mortgage Statement
- Utility Bill (if requisition utility assistance)
- Documentation of hardship (job loss letter, proof of unemployment, reduced hours at work or furlough letter)
Please note that this assistance is limited to one time only and not on-going.
*Immediate financial assistance is not available through this office.
The Division of Community Assistance offers financial help to Seminole County residents who have experienced an unexpected financial hardship for Rent, Mortgage, Utilities (Electric, Water & Gas) and for Rental & Utility Security Deposits. We also provide assistance for Dental and Training.
This office does not provide Emergency Assistance.
Rescue Outreach Mission exists to serve disadvantaged people throughout Central Florida by providing resources that help prevent homelessness and assisting those who are homeless to become self-sufficient. The Rescue Outreach Mission provides emergency resources such as food and shelter through two onsite shelters and a “Housing for Families” program. We also assist with clothing and counseling through access to comprehensive case management and referral services that help individuals find needed resources beyond those offered at the mission.
Get shelter, two meals a day and access to the clothes closet. They can also get spiritual guidance.

Do not currently have health insurance At or below 200% poverty level.
Are not covered by government assisted health care programs like Medicare or Medicaid.
