Community Outreach and Assistance Support Team

COAST stands for Community Outreach and Assistance Support Team, which is a program launched by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 to help homeless individuals and families in the county. The COAST team consists of a deputy sheriff, a mental health counselor, and a case manager who work together to connect homeless people with resources and services that can help them transition to stable housing.
